Review Policy

Peer Review Process for ICISPES 2027 Conference Proceedings:

1.Initial Submission

  • Manuscript Submission: Authors are required to submit their full manuscripts through the conference’s online submission system by the specified deadline.
  • Submission Requirements: Submissions must adhere to the formatting and style guidelines provided by the conference. Papers must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

2.Premilinary check

  • Editorial Screening: Upon submission, the conference’s editorial team will conduct a preliminary screening to ensure that the manuscript meets the basic submission requirements, including scope relevance, formatting, and originality.
  • Plagiarism Check: A plagiarism detection tool will be used to verify the originality of the manuscript. Papers with significant plagiarism will be automatically rejected.

3. Assignment of Reviewers

  • Reviewer Selection: The Technical Program Committee (TPC) will assign at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant track to each submitted manuscript.
  • The review process will be double-blind, meaning that reviewers know the author’s identities, but the authors do not know the reviewers.

4. Review Process

  • Evaluation Criteria: Reviewers will evaluate the manuscripts based on the following criteria:
    • Relevance to the conference tracks and themes
    • Originality and innovation of the research
    • Technical quality and soundness of the methodology
    • Clarity and coherence of the presentation
    • Adequacy of literature review and references
    • Significance of the results and conclusions
  • Reviewer Reports: Each reviewer will provide a detailed report, including comments and suggestions for improvement. They will recommend one of the following actions:
    • Accept
    • Minor Revisions
    • Major Revisions
    • Reject

5. Decision Making

  • Review Synthesis: The TPC will synthesize the reviews and make a decision based on the reviewers’ recommendations. If there is a significant disparity in the reviewers’ evaluations, one more reviewer may be assigned.
  • Notification to Authors: Authors will be notified of the decision, along with the reviewers’ comments. If revisions are required, authors will be given a deadline to resubmit the revised manuscript.

6. Revised Manuscript Submission

  • Resubmission: Authors who are asked to revise their manuscripts must submit the revised version through the conference’s submission system. The revised manuscript should be accompanied by a response letter detailing how the reviewers’ comments have been addressed.
  • Second Review: Revised manuscripts may be sent back to the original reviewers for a second round of review, particularly if major revisions were required.

7. Final Decision

  • Final Review and Decision: The TPC will make a final decision on the acceptance of the manuscript based on the reviewers’ feedback on the revised version.
  • Acceptance Notification: Authors of accepted manuscripts will receive an official acceptance letter, along with instructions for preparing the final version of their paper for inclusion in the conference proceedings.

8. Publication Preparation

  • Final Manuscript Submission: Authors will submit the final camera-ready version of their paper, formatted according to the publisher’s guidelines.
  • Proofreading and Formatting: The conference editorial team will perform a final check for formatting, grammatical errors, and consistency before the manuscript is sent to the publisher.
  • Proceedings Compilation: Accepted papers will be compiled into the conference proceedings, which will be published by the designated publisher and indexed in major academic databases.

9. Post Conference

  • Presentation Requirement: To be included in the conference proceedings, authors must present their accepted papers at the conference.
  • Digital Access: The conference proceedings will be made available digitally to participants, and papers will be accessible through the publisher’s platform.
